Real stories, real Paris — read your way to fluent French.

How graded reading works

1. Pick your level

Each book is written inside the word and grammar limits of one level, so you understand almost everything without a dictionary.

2. Read for the story

Read each chapter once for what happens and once for the words in bold. Guess first, then check the glossary.

3. Check yourself

Three quick questions after every chapter, with the answers at the back. No homework, no drills.

4. Move up a level

The same characters carry on from A1 to B2. When a level feels easy, the next book is waiting.

Dry boots. Two cups. One dead fisherman.
